Boeing designs, manufactures and sells commercial jetliners, military aircraft, satellites, missile‑defense systems and related aerospace products, and it provides aftermarket services such as parts, maintenance, training and digital solutions through its Global Services unit. The company operates in the aerospace and defense sector, with two primary business segments—Commercial Airplanes and Defense, Space & Security—supported by financing and shared services functions. As the world’s largest aerospace firm and one of the two dominant commercial aircraft manufacturers, Boeing serves airlines and government customers in more than 150 countries and maintains a leading position in both commercial aviation and U.S. defense contracting.
