At TickStock LLC ('TickStock', 'we', 'us', or 'our'), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our alerting platform for stocks, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies. Our service provides price and event notifications and does not constitute financial advice. Your use of the Service is also governed by our Terms of Service.

Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, subscribe to our service, or create alerts. This may include:

• Email address
• Password (securely hashed and stored)
• Mobile phone number (for SMS alerts, if enabled)
• Push subscription details (for push notifications, if enabled): a browser-provided endpoint URL, cryptographic keys used to encrypt push payloads, and a short device label (for example, "iPad" or "Mac") so you can identify and manage each registration. These are stored per device you enable push on.
• Alert preferences and the stocks, ETFs, or cryptocurrencies you choose to monitor
• Billing information processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store payment card details on our systems.
• Usage data and platform interactions

We also automatically collect certain technical information when you use our service, including IP address, browser type, device information, and use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookies section below.

Essential Cookies

We use cookies to:

• Provide secure access to your account and alert preferences
• Enable core platform functionality

These cookies are necessary for our service to function properly and cannot be disabled while using the platform.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand aggregate usage of our platform. This service does not use cookies or collect personal data that identifies you. You can read more about Plausible's data policy.

Local Storage

We store small amounts of data in your browser's local storage to support core features, including navigation history and your push notification registration for this browser. This data stays on your device and can be cleared through your browser settings.

Cookie Management

You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies will affect platform functionality and may prevent you from accessing certain features. We will seek your consent before using non-essential cookies where required by law.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is no industry-standard approach for responding to DNT signals, and our analytics are privacy-focused and cookieless, so we do not currently respond to DNT signals. We will update this section if our practices change.

We process your personal information based on:

• Your consent (for SMS notifications, push notifications, and marketing communications)
• Contractual necessity (to provide our alerting service)
• Legitimate business interests (to improve and secure our platform)

How We Use Your Information

• Process and deliver your price and event alert notifications via email, SMS, and push
• Send SMS text messages for your alerts (with your consent)
• Deliver push notifications to your registered browsers and devices (with your consent)
• Process subscription payments through our payment provider
• Improve and optimize our platform performance
• Ensure platform security and prevent fraud
• Communicate important service updates

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in these limited circumstances:

• With service providers who help us operate our platform (email/SMS delivery, push delivery via browser vendor push services, hosting, payment processing, analytics)
• When required by law or legal process
• To protect our rights or safety, or that of our users
• In connection with a business transfer or acquisition

Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on trusted third parties to operate our platform. These providers process only the information needed to perform their services on our behalf:

• Cloudflare, for hosting and content delivery
• Supabase, for authentication and database services
• Stripe, for subscription payment processing
• Resend, for transactional and notification email delivery
• Twilio, for SMS message delivery
• Pusher, for real-time in-app updates such as live prices and notification counts
• Plausible Analytics, for privacy-focused, cookieless usage analytics
• HelpScout, which powers our in-app support widget. When you open support while signed in, we share your email and account identifier so we can assist you

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal information
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Restrict or object to certain processing of your information
• Opt out of marketing communications
• Data portability (where applicable)

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account deletion, we may retain certain information for legal compliance, dispute resolution, and security purposes for up to 7 years.

SMS Communications and Opt-Out

If you enable SMS notifications, you consent to receive text messages about your price and event alerts. You can opt out anytime by:

• Replying "STOP" to any SMS message
• Updating preferences in your account settings

Standard message and data rates may apply. Message frequency depends on your alert settings and market activity.

Push Notifications and Opt-Out

If you enable push notifications, you consent to receive notifications about your price and event alerts on the browsers and devices you have registered. When you enable push on a device, your browser provides us with an endpoint URL and encryption keys which we use only to deliver notifications you've requested. We do not use these endpoints for advertising or share them with third parties beyond the browser vendor's push service required for delivery (e.g., Apple, Google, Mozilla, Microsoft).

You can opt out anytime by:

• Toggling push off, or removing individual devices, in the Push Notifications section of your Preferences page
• Revoking notification permission in your browser or OS settings

On iOS and iPadOS, push is only available when you install TickStock to your Home Screen using Safari's "Add to Home Screen" option. Uninstalling the app also removes its push subscription. Message frequency depends on your alert settings and market activity.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure data storage, and access controls to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in the United States. If you're located outside the US, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers.

Age Restrictions

Our service is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We'll notify you of material changes via email or platform notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
