iShares Core MSCI EAFE ETF (IEFA) invests in a broad range of large‑, mid‑ and small‑cap equities from developed markets outside the United States and Canada, covering Europe, Australasia and the Far East; its holdings span sectors such as financials, industrials, technology, health care and consumer goods. The fund follows a passive, market‑cap‑weighted strategy designed to track the MSCI EAFE Investable Market Index, holding at least 80 % of its assets in the index’s component securities and rebalancing periodically to reflect index changes.
