The iShares Core MSCI EAFE ETF (IEFA) provides broad exposure to large‑, mid‑ and small‑cap equities from developed markets outside the United States and Canada, primarily covering Europe, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and other Asia‑Pacific economies. It tracks the MSCI EAFE IMI Index on a free‑float, market‑capitalisation‑weighted basis, holding at least 80 % of its assets in the index constituents and seeking to replicate their performance. The fund’s sector mix is diversified, with significant allocations to financials, industrials, technology, health care and consumer‑related companies.
