Description
The VanEck Semiconductor ETF (SMH) invests in equity securities of companies that design, manufacture, or sell semiconductors and related equipment, primarily U.S.-listed firms but also includes foreign companies listed in the United States. It follows a passive, full‑replication approach to track the MVIS US Listed Semiconductor 25 Index, holding the largest and most liquid semiconductor companies that generate the majority of their revenue from semiconductor activities.
