Description
Vanguard Real Estate ETF (VNQ) provides exposure to U.S. real‑estate investment trusts and other equity securities that own or finance commercial properties, covering office, retail, residential, industrial and specialized real‑estate assets. The fund follows a passive, full‑replication approach that tracks the MSCI U.S. Investable Market Real Estate 25/50 Index, holding the constituent stocks in the same market‑cap weighting as the benchmark. Its holdings are concentrated in the United States, with virtually all assets allocated to domestic real‑estate companies.
